Value pricing vs hourly
I do not price jobs on the length of time I think your accounting will take, but on the value I will bring, because that's what builds relationships. In a billable hour model, I have found that both myself and my clients concentrate too much on the clock; you will always wonder if I'm dragging my feet to get more hours and I will always wonder if I could have delivered better results with an extra half hour reviewing that issue because I was stressing over my billable hours that month. Your business deserves my utmost attention regardless of how long that may take.
